My Shack

I converted the loft quite a number of years ago, we have this enourmous roof space which allowed me to creat a sixteen foot by ten foot shack/hobby room with another similar sized storage space next to it. My radio station is a very modest affair, I use a Yaesu FT 857D for HF/VHF/UHF This is connected to a Yaesu YA-30 Broadband HF antenna I also have a Silver Rod which I use for ten meters when conditions are right. I use a LDG Auto tuner which seems to tune just about anything.

I dabble with Packet Radio using a Kenwood TR 7730 with a Tiny Two TNC, packet is fairly quiet in this area just now but myself and one or two more amateures in the area are hopeing to set up a system in the not too distant future. I have just recently renewed all the coax feeds into the shack as well as servicing the aerials so all is now working 100% again.
